It’s that time of year….the leaves change, the air turns crisp and cool, and my amazing couples for the following year start scheduling engagement sessions! I love engagement sessions for many reasons, but my absolute number one reason is because it gives me and my couples a chance to hang out and get to know each other in a relaxed setting (I make jokes while I shoot…I’m not always funny as much as I try though 🙂 and then by the time the wedding day roles around, we’re old friends.  They get to see how I work behind the lens, and I get to take mental notes on how she scrunches her nose when he makes her laugh or how when said laugh comes out of her mouth, he looks at her like she’s the only woman in the world.  Jessica and Paul live a few hours away, so we decided to meet halfway and spend some time on their friend’s farm.  The aforementioned scrunching of the nose and loving gaze are these two to a T.  I had such a blast with these two and can’t wait for their wedding next June!  XOXO
Their cute-as-can-be puppy came along for some “family” photos! I wanted to take him home with me 🙂
