Kirstie and Steven met while attending class together at Ohio State University in 2010. With a shared love of basketball, their families, and, soon enough, each other, they became inseparable. They fell in love, endured a long-distance relationship at one point, the stresses of school, graduation, new jobs, relocating, and even an amazing trip to Europe, and they knew through everything that they were it. It was going to be forever. At OSU, there is a long-standing tradition that if you walk a particular part of campus from one end to the other, hand-in-hand with the one you love, you are destined to be in love forever. Steven took Kirstie on that walk, and at the end, got down on one knee.
Their wedding day for me was very near and dear to my heart, as it’s also my wedding anniversary. Watching their wedding day unfold, I was reminded of how amazing my own wedding day was, and was overcome with emotion many times throughout the day. The love they have for each other and the love that radiated from their friends and family couldn’t have made their day any more perfect. Kirstie and Steven, I’m very blessed to have shared your day with you, and wish you lots and lots of happiness! XOXO
Kirstie looked so, so beautiful!! I mentioned several times that day how much she looked like she could be “Wedding Day Barbie”. Just stunning.
Their rings with the cork from a bottle of wine they brought back from France when they went to Europe. They saved the bottle to drink on their wedding day!
